Our last getaway trip of Summer 2017 was to luxury boutique hotel Marti Hemithea in Orhaniye, Marmaris. It’s a little piece of heaven nestled between the blue sea and the green pine tree clad mountains, 25km from the bustling resort of Marmaris.
The hotel is home to 3 restaurants, a marina, a full-service spa with Turkish bath and 2 beautiful swimming pools.
We stayed in 2 different rooms while we were there. Both so luxurious in their design and decor with big comfortable beds and large rain showers. Every balcony has a sea view and I loved waking up in the morning throwing open the curtains and watching the sun slowly rise with nothing but the sounds of the birds chirping and the chiming of the yacht masts in the marina.
As someone that loves food, I can report that the food at Hemithea Hotel was delicious. Breakfast was amazing with a large choice of breads, jams, honey, cheeses, meats and eggs of your choice.
Whilst we were there we were able to try out the spa. They offer a variety of different massages and treatments and I chose the anti stress massage which was so relaxing. They also have a beautiful hamam (Turkish bath) sauna and steam room.
It’s a really great hotel to unwind in nature, to relax, get rid of your worries and stress and enjoy the peace. If you do feel like exploring then Hemithea Hotel offers hiking packages and boat trips. The latter we experienced on our last day and it’s such a nice way to see some of the surrounding nature. The hotel provide fruit, drinks, sandwiches and towels. It wasn’t really swimming weather when we went so we sailed to the nearby Rabbit Island and watched all the bunnies hopping around but they usually take you to coves and bays where you can jump off the boat and swim.
Hemithea is a beautiful hotel and i’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel in the heart of nature. Marti Hotel chains have a number of resort and boutique hotels in Turkey. They also have Doğan Hotel, a boutique hotel located 5 minutes walk from Hemithea hotel.
I’d like to give a big shout out to Asim, the guest relations manager, for all his help, chats and for just being an all round fantastic guy. He is a real credit to the hotel. 🙂
